Rental

Rental terms

1. Booking and contract

A website or WhatsApp enquiry is non-binding. A rental contract is formed only after confirmation and fulfilment of the agreed requirements. Vehicle, period, price, included mileage, deposit and excess are stated in the individual offer.

2. Drivers and documents

The standard minimum age is 25. A valid driving licence recognised in Germany and official photo identification are required. Only drivers named in the rental agreement may drive the vehicle. Vehicle-specific requirements may apply.

3. Price, payment and deposit

Prices, deadlines and accepted payment methods are set out in the offer or rental agreement. The deposit must be paid before handover and may be offset against outstanding charges, damage, additional mileage, fuel, cleaning, tolls or administration costs.

4. Rental period

The vehicle must be collected and returned at the agreed times. Any extension requires prior approval. If an unavailable vehicle cannot be provided for an unforeseen reason, a comparable replacement or individual solution will be offered where possible; mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.

5. Permitted use

The vehicle must be treated carefully and lawfully. Racing, track use, speed trials, unauthorised sub-rental, towing and driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or impairing medication are prohibited.

6. International travel

Travel outside Germany requires prior written approval and is limited to expressly authorised countries. The renter must observe insurance, toll, vignette and permit requirements.

7. Mileage and energy

Included mileage and additional-mileage rates are set out in the rental agreement. The vehicle must be returned with the agreed fuel or battery level.

8. Insurance and excess

Vehicle-specific insurance and excess are stated in the agreement. Limitations of liability may cease to apply in cases such as intent, gross negligence, unauthorised drivers, prohibited use, false information or breach of contractual duties, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Accidents, damage and breakdowns

Accidents, damage, theft, loss and technical faults must be reported immediately. The police should generally be called and an accident report completed. No admission of liability may be made to third parties.

10. Fines and charges

The renter is responsible for fines, tolls, parking fees and similar charges incurred during the rental. A reasonable administration fee stated in the agreement may apply to official or private keeper enquiries.

11. Handover and return

Condition, mileage, accessories and fuel or battery level are documented. The vehicle must be returned on time, with all accessories and in the contractually required condition. Exceptional cleaning may be charged at actual cost.

12. Cancellation

Cancellation terms and possible charges are provided in the individual offer before contract formation. Statutory cancellation rights apply only where their legal requirements are met.

13. Liability

Statutory rules apply unless the rental agreement validly provides otherwise. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
